Meet Jonathan Madison
A lifelong Northern California native, Jonathan Madison is a local small business owner, attorney, and columnist.
Jonathan attended Voice of Pentecost Academy in High School, graduating early. He would then graduate Magna Cum Laude from Howard University with distinguished honors in 2011.
While attending Howard University, Jonathan interned with several United States Senate and House of Representatives members. This would lead to a professional policy staff position for the U.S. House of Representatives, Committee on Financial Services, during the 112th Congress. There, Jonathan managed policy portfolios on housing and oversight issues for the Committee Chairman and conducted strategy to facilitate the passage of housing reform legislation.
In 2016, Jonathan graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law. While attending law school, Jonathan clerked for Fried & Williams LLP and Wells Fargo’s Legal Group.
Following law school, Jonathan joined the firm of Fried & Williams LLP, where he worked as an associate until he founded the Madison Firm. As Lead Partner, Jonathan provides legal assistance in estate planning, landlord-tenant, appellate matters, and civil litigation.
In 2019, Jonathan and his family founded the nonprofit Mercy Seat, created out of a six-year prison ministry that serves and feeds inmates in local county jails.
Jonathan regularly provides opinions on Fox Business Mornings with Maria and has appeared on the following networks and television shows: Saturday Night Live, KRON 4 News, and KTVU Channel 2 News.
